Photo Gallery from the Sangha Wellness Week

From July 26 to 31 we hosted 4 wonderful teachers and about 20 guests for the experimental meditation retreat with zen practice, as well as every-day yoga lessons and pranayama (lead by Anat Zahor from Israei), cooking workshops (lead by Avital Sebbag from Israel) and workshops on non-violent communication, Mindfulness-Based-Stress-Reduction and Team Work (lead by Arne Schaefer JDPSN and Irmi Jeuther, his wife from Germany). People from Israel, Lithuania, Czech Republic and Belgium took part and rejoiced from this event. We all loved it and will repeat it next summer for sure.

100-day Kwan Seum Bosal Kido

June 5 - September 4, 2010

 

Just like every year, also this summer we hold 100-day Kwan Seum Bosal kido.

 

There is no mandatory silence. Participants can practice, help the temple and get to know their Sangha friends from all over the world. It is an excellent opportunity to engage in Dharma practice and discover nature in the Won Kwang Sa valley...

Weekend retreat and Precepts Ceremony with Jo Potter JDPSN

September 2 - 4, 2010

 

At the end of the 100-day summer kido there will be a weekend meditation retreat lead by Jo Potter JDPSN from Germany. She speaks fluent German, English and Spanish. Translation to Czech and Hungarian will be provided.

At the end of the retreat, there will be Precepts Ceremony. If you wish to take precepts, let us know at least 2 weeks in advance.

Books with Chong An Sunim's Dharma Talks

Two new books with compiled Dharma Talks given by Chong An Sunim, JDPS in the last three years are now available in our temple. Both books are written in Korean and English (the first half of the book is the Korean translation, the second half of the book is the English original).
